My daughter had a unicorn birthday party and I made these to top her cupcakes. Super cute, everyone loved them! My only complant is it was hard to take out without the horn breaking. Not a big deal, I just "glued" them back on with melted chocolate. It was just a little annoying and more time consuming. Overall I will most likely be using them again.

purchased this for my 5-yo's birthday party. I intended to make white chocolate unicorns which I was going to "skewer" into cupcakes. However, very hard to unmold and keep the "stem". I've not done much work with chocolate before, so maybe there is a trick. Overall, they ended up really cute despite just being set up on top of the cupcakes.

Bought this mold and the chess/checker board mold from the same company. Worked well. The cake was made for a birthday party and was a huge hit! It didn't come with instructions, so read up on making them if you are unsure. I filled the molds with chocolate and froze them until the were solid. I set those aside and made a fresh set. While those were freshly poured, I put the solid one on top to combine them as one piece. Pop back in the fridge or freezer. Washing with luke warm water to not warp the plastic and not scrubbing to hard to avoid scratching were useful info too.

I bought these looking for something fun and interesting to use to make barley pops. After a search for the older-style cast aluminum molds, I came up empty handed. Then, a search on Amazon found the lobster pop hard candy mold. So far, I have used these three times and they seem to be holding up well. I was a little apprehensive at first purchasing a "plastic-type" product to pour a 300 degree mixture in, but my worries were diminished after its first use. I would highy recommend this product.
