I bought these looking for something fun and interesting to use to make barley pops. After a search for the older-style cast aluminum molds, I came up empty handed. Then, a search on Amazon found the lobster pop hard candy mold. So far, I have used these three times and they seem to be holding up well. I was a little apprehensive at first purchasing a "plastic-type" product to pour a 300 degree mixture in, but my worries were diminished after its first use. I would highy recommend this product.
