I bought this to make crayons at girl scout camp with my daughter. The crayons came out great. They were easy to remove once they dried. The details in the mold to crayon were fine. I imagine that chocolate would work really well in here, too.

love these little buggers!i've used these both with NICE chocolate and the cheap chocolate flavored "bark" -- the chocolates come out shiny and beautiful! to avoid holes (caused by bubbles) i recommend making sure your chocolate is nowhere near cool & pouring very slowly.i used these for about 100 truffle filled chocolates last christmas (took FOREVER with just one mold, but that was my fault for not buying more) and the mold is still in perfect shape! your best bet is to pipe in fillings and cover with more chocolate if you don't want to chance it poking out the sides, as the figures are pretty thin in some spots.will be buying more molds from this company

I bought this trying to make shaped brownies instead of chocolate, and I failed and realized I can't really bake "shaped brownies" with his. It's too small for baking brownies and the brownie mix doesn't fill up every crevice to show the emo faces. But that's my fault for assuming my brownies will come out with emo faces! I haven't made chocolate with this mold, but I'm sure it will come out great if I knew how to make them properly (hahaha!). But as a silicone mold, it withheld the temperature of the oven very well, not misshaping or melting after baking. Cleaning was kind of hard because the oil from brownie got in the corners and wouldn't come out easily, since the mold is so tiny. It's hard to get the sponge to all sides of the mold. I had to wash them in hot water and try to soap them several times before they stopped feeling so greasy. Overall, it's a great product and one day I will try making chocolate or shaped-ice cubes with it :)
