Great cake pop maker!
R. Elgin

Hello. I just bought this cake pop maker at Walmart for a very low price of $7... so I couldn't pass it up. Make sure to read the directions... because the first batch or two will need to be thrown away... the cake pop maker emits a little smoke/odor but it goes away fast... this is normal. For my first time using it I made hearts, and I just used normal boxed cake mix. Once the machine preheats and the light turns green, you will use oil to grease molds... but I just used butter flavored pam... and it only took about 3 minutes per batch of 7. There are only 20 pop sticks per box so I ended up buying a cheap pack of popsicle sticks at Walmart. Anyways, to put on stick, you dip in frosting and then put on so it sticks better. I know I've only used it once and can't comment on the longevity of this product, but it worked really well the first time! Even for a higher price it's a good deal because you get the choice between stars and hearts. This also comes with some cake pop recipes. Hope this review helps.

Super fantastic

I also purchased this at Walmart on sale for 7 buck a roos! We were going to go with the pans you just pop in the oven..but this was cheaper so we figured we'd give it a shot and boy are we ever so happy!!! The smell is noticeable for the first time but nothing an open window can't fix ;) . We've used both molds but we feel like the hearts come out the easiest and the best! Also as far as cake mixes go..the lighter the cake the faster the cook time ;) i have three children (11.5, 9, 7.5) and they have a blast making the cake pops ( or bites as we call them w/out the sticks)...you won't regret the purchase:)

Was not real happy the picture for this product shows circle, star and heart shaped cake pops though this maker only does stars and hearts..
