Great Detail
EH

These molds were great. The detail that was on the chocolates when they came out was amazing. Added a fun topping to our birthday cupcakes. The front of the hat was big enough to write a number on it. The only bad part was that bubbles would get trapped in the tip of the hat, but with some extra tapping they came right out.

This candy mold is great for making quick treats for any occasion. I ordered this item to make snack for a Sunday School lesson on the Armor of God. In the lesson we talk about the Helmet of Salvation and talk about how it's similar to fire fighters wearing a helmet to protect them from danger. Now that we have the mold, we plan on using it to make treats for our local fire station to show our appreciation!Quick tips for using the mold:Make sure to fill in the bottom cavity and then carefully fill the top part almost to the top. DO NOT OVERFILL! Make sure to tap on the counter to remove any bubbles, then put in freezer or fridge to set up.These take a LONG time to set up. Each set took about 15 minutes in the fridge or 10 minutes in the freezer. If you are making all the same color, it is not necessary to wash the tray in-between making sets. It will go a LOT faster this way. I used Wilton yellow candy melts. To remove the helmets from the tray you can twist like an ice cube tray, but I had success turning the tray over and pushing my thumb on the "brim" of the helmets to pop them out.
