The Small Bird is 1-1/2-inch by -5/8-inch by -1/8-inch, Medium Bird is 1-3/4-inch by -3/4-inch by -1/4-inch, Large Bird is 17/8-inch by -3/4-inch by -1/4-inch with 18 cavities per mold. This mold makes approximately 75 pieces per pound of chocolate. Do not use for hard candy or other hot ingredients.

This is an adorable mold. The cavities are roughly about 1 1/2 inches across from beak to tail. The cavities are not very deep so I would consider these "mini" size. These would be a perfect size for laying on a cake or cupcake, or little bite size treats. The birds are actually much more detailed then they appear in the picture. You can clearly make out feathers and beaks. One cavity has a very distinct cardinal/bluejay shape.I like these CK brand molds because the plastic is much thicker and sturdier than other commercial molds I have purchased. The molds work great with regular chocolate or commercial candy melts. They release the candy easily. Great little mold!!

I'd been looking for bird decoration molds and had no luck until I checked Amazon. I should have checked there first. Good sturdy quality that I'll be able to use over and over again.
